We offer a variety of sporting activities such as soccer, netball, athletics, cross-country, swimming, table tennis, volleyball, mini-cricket and chess.
Our high school learners have the opportunity to compete at national and international level in the cultural extravaganza known as "Convention". This is the highlight of the year at which leaners are selected to represent South African ACE schools in an international competition in the USA.
The ACE system builds character as it is based on the Word of God and the characteristics of Jesus.

Shanan currently offers 2 Exit Qualification Options:
a. LCA Route This route offers a Duel Enrolment with Lighthouse Christian Academy in the USA. This route offers the use of PACEs (Saturated with Biblical Content) right up to Gr 12, and is a Foreign Qualification. With this Qualification the SATS will also need to be taken.
b. IEB Online This route offers a South African NQF level 4 Qualification, and is Umalusi approved for tertiary studies. It is a 3 year course, which means the Learners do ACE Paces up to Gr 9, where they will do an Assessment with AEE Online. If accepted, these Learners will follow the Online route for Gr 10, 11 and 12. Depending on the Tertiary Study Route they choose, they could be required to do the NBT as an entrance test.
